* this is obviously from last year, but you get the gist!*
So, last year I took the plunge and did NaNoWriMo for the very first time! I did it first in August for their Camp NaNoWriMo and then again in November for the proper one. I plan on doing it again this year in November but I found the best way for me to succeed during this month was through the motivation of fellow nanowrimo participants.
Where I was based at university I had a great moral support system and it really helped. I have looked but I don’t think there’s anything quite like it here (that’s what happens when you move from a city to a town!), but I really want to succeed again. But then I thought, what am I doing? I know a BUNCH of BRILLIANT people, my followers and fellow writers!
Therefore I am calling out to YOU.
I think it would be awesome if a group of us hardcore bloggers planning to dive into the NanoWrimo ocean got together and helped support each other. Throughout the month we could have weekly “meets” to discuss our ideas and progress and to cheer each other on and we could also have word wars or timed goals.
All of it to help us to reach, or surpass our goal.
It still has a lot of planning on my part to be done – there may be some blog posts to think about, maybe a goodreads group to create, etc – but, if you’re interested in this, let me know! I’m adding a linky to the end of this post so if you definitely want to join, sign up! That way I can e-mail you with all the new details and updates too.
Let’s make this year great!
