The LGBT Read-A-Thon! (May 3rd-6th 2013)

Hey Guys!

So my announcement today is that I’m going to be hosting The LGBT Read-A-Thon! I’m not sure if there has been or will be another LGBT read-a-thon hosted by someone else – I apologise if there is! – but this one will be hosted on May 3rd-May 6th!.

But what is the LGBT Read-A-Thon?
This read-a-thon lasts from Friday to Monday and is four days where participants will aim to read as many LGBT fiction (or non-fiction) books as they so choose! It’s as simple as that.

Why LGBT Fiction?
In hosting this read-a-thon I hope to help raise awareness for LGBT fiction as there is so much out there and it is time that people started tapping into the potential that it holds.

How do I sign up?
Signing up is easy! You don’t even need to have a blog! Simply add your blog, goodreads profile, or twitter username to the linky list below and you’re all set! I have asked for your e-mail address just so I can send you a reminder e-mail closer to the date, it will NOT be used for any other reason.
If you have a blog, and wish to, please post a sign up post so as to attract others.

Will there be anything else going on?
Yes! There will be a few LGBT reviews going up on my blog during the event, a guest post or two, and a mini-challenge which will continue throughout the read-a-thon as well. (There will also be a giveaway or two!)
Plus, there will also be a Twitter Chat. Details of all of these will be discussed closer to the event.

Is there a hashtag to use?
Yeap! If you’re doing any tweeting about the event, you can use the hashtag; #LGBTR-A-T
