Example
The Secret of Ella & Micha; Original Synopsis;
The girl he thinks he loves needs to disappear. I don’t want tonight to be irreversible, so I pull away, breathing him in one last time.
Ella and Micha have been best friends since childhood, until one tragic night shatters their relationship and Ella decides to leave everything behind to start a new life at college, including Micha.
But now it’s summer break and she has nowhere else to go but home. Ella fears everything she worked so hard to bury might resurface, especially with Micha living right next door. Micha is sexy, smart, confident, and can get under Ella’s skin like no one else can. He knows everything about her, including her darkest secrets. And he’s determined to win back the girl he lost, no matter what it takes.
My Synopsis;
Hidden underneath the surface is a love so strong, it is only a matter of time before it breaks free. How long will it take for Ella to bury her feelings for him when he continues to try and pry her open? She’s ready to simply bury herself and never come out of her shell. What will happen if he finally brings everything to the surface? Will it be as brilliant as he always imagined or will he break her in ways he never expected? There’s only one way to find out…
Naturally the new synopsis doesn’t have to be amazing. Have fun with it. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Beautiful Broken Rules by Kimberly Lauren
Original Synopsis
What happens when you create rules to keep others out?
One thing Emerson Moore has come to terms with is that she is the school slut. She knows her way around a frat house and how to get what she wants. She doesn’t make any excuses for her actions and she doesn’t pretend to be anything different. She is who she is and with that she knows how to have a good time. She’s made rules to keep relationships at bay and avoid the demons of her past.
When her best friend, Cole has his two friends from back home move in with him she begins to think she has met her match with Jaxon Riley. Jax is the perfect mixture of tattooed muscle and a sweet-talking mouth. With “hand” written notes, a voice that exudes sex and knowing just how to get under her skin, Jaxon learns how to break all the rules. But will he just end up breaking her heart anyway?
My synopsis
“Be silly, be honest, Be kind”
Like her mother always told her to, Emerson Moore seeks to live her namesake. Now a college junior, she just wants to have fun and ensures no strings are attached along with it. Armed with three key rules that guard against relationships, Emerson knows the scoreboard and so does everyone around her. If that makes her the school slut, then so be it. At least her heart’s intact and the demons of her past can’t shake her anymore.
In walks Jaxon Riley, her new next door neighbor and the more sinful half of the Riley twins. Once he sees her half naked, doing the walk of shame out of her frat house, he’s determined to get to know her. Not put off by Emerson’s reputation or even her own doubts about her self, Jaxon’s relentless. With a combination of playfulness and an intensity that breaks through all her walls, Emerson might just have met her match. But the road to love is never easy, and even Jaxon’s promises might not keep her heart from shattering in the end.

This is for the Edge of Never by JA Redmeski
Goodreads synopsis:
Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett had always been one to think out-of-the-box, who knew she wanted something more in life than following the same repetitive patterns and growing old with the same repetitive life story. And she thought that her life was going in the right direction until everything fell apart.
Determined not to dwell on the negative and push forward, Camryn is set to move in with her best friend and plans to start a new job. But after an unexpected night at the hottest club in downtown North Carolina, she makes the ultimate decision to leave the only life she’s ever known, far behind.
With a purse, a cell phone and a small bag with a few necessities, Camryn, with absolutely no direction or purpose boards a Greyhound bus alone and sets out to find herself. What she finds is a guy named Andrew Parrish, someone not so very different from her and who harbors his own dark secrets. But Camryn swore never to let down her walls again. And she vowed never to fall in love.
But with Andrew, Camryn finds herself doing a lot of things she never thought she’d do. He shows her what it’s really like to live out-of-the-box and to give in to her deepest, darkest desires. On their sporadic road-trip he becomes the center of her exciting and daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But will Andrew’s dark secret push them inseparably together, or tear them completely apart?
My synopsis:
This book is about twenty year old Camryn. A bunch of bad things happen in her life and she ends up on a bus with basically no idea where she is going. On the bus she meets 25 year old Andrew. They have an instant connection. But Andrew has a secret. Will they be able to overcome what he is hiding?
This book has graphic sexual content and is not suitable for anyone under 18.
