Netgalley November Update #1
Updates
Hey Guys!
Can you believe that the first week of November is already over? Seriously… when did that happen?
Anyway…
As it is now the second friday of the month I am sharing with you all how my goals for this event are going.
Goals
So, I set out to read 4-6 books for this challenge, and I also want to try to get my statistics up to at least 45%. It’s nowhere near what it needs to be but it should be a start.
Progress
In this first week I have read ONE book.
I really enjoyed this book and it was the last one in the duology and it was just a brilliant ending. I will be posting my full review of it by the end of next week (hopefully).
I also started reading
I was planning on starting Broken by A. C. Rought but then I was out and about with my iPod and no wifi and I had Control already downloaded but not Broken and thus I just started reading that instead.
I am also in the middle of one non-netgalley book which is for a book tour I’m participating in next week!
Unfortunately, however, because I went on Netgalley to update my review of Geek Girl 2, I also naturally went searching and ended up finding two books to request and one I have been approved for so my stats still sit at 36%. Hopefully when I get my review of Resist up that will change.
New Rule
It also made me realise that throughout the month of November, I should not request anymore books on Netgalley and so I am banning myself from doing so!
And that’s all of my progress report complete! How are you doing with your goals?
Feel free to simply comment below or add your post link to the linky!
I will do my best to visit and comment on everyone’s updates!

I have read 2 books this week, well actually I DNF’d one of them: Becoming Alpha by Aileen Erin. After that I read Ruin (Summer in Winter #1) by CJ Scott, which I enjoyed. The review of that one is up on my blog today! And I am now starting Full Blooded by Amanda Carlson, which I actually have in paperback, I got approved for it so long ago I forgot and ordered the paperback too. So I am reading the paperback now, I just needed an excuse to finally start this book!

Ha – I had the same problem, Faye. I went to NetGalley to post my feedback and ended up downloading two additional books. *sigh*

So easily done! Netgalley sucks you in….Look at all my pretties! You know you want to request …just one little click.
So yes, same here I went on line to post some feedback and requested 4 more books. I have been defined for two already, but then I guess that just goes to show how much I need to improve my approval/feedback percentage.

Whoops. Haven’t started yet. THough in fairness, I’ve only read 2 very short e-books this month and nothing else. Cannot concentrate even for such a worthwhile challenge as this…

I think thats the only thing about NG is everytime I go on there, I seem to end up requesting more things! 1 and a bit books is good though, I hope you manage to keep reading ebooks next week :-)

I think I should probably do the same and ban myself from requesting any more books! I seem to have got rid of a few, but unfortunately added more. Oops! At least I’m not alone with this one!

So far I’ve been able to stay away from Netgalley but who knows how long that will last! I managed two books this week but I’m hoping I can read more next week, good luck for the rest of the challenge :)
