Summary:
Isis, the daughter of a charlatan psychic, can see ghosts – including that of her dead little sister, Angel. Gray is the son of a UFO-chasing conspiracy theorist. The two teenagers are forced together when their parents start dating. After a reluctant start, a friendship develops and Isis confesses her secret ability to Gray. If Only You

I have a bit of a weird obssession with books that involve ghosts in some way and so when I heard about this book, I knew it was one that I was interested in reading. I was also sure that I would more than likely enjoy it but I certainly didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. This book, which I listened to the audiobook for, was riveting, intense and just truly entertaining and fascinating. I loved all the characters and Emily’s depiction and imagination of ghosts was so very interesting.

See The Evil

Ways to See a Ghost grabbed me from the very first sentence with an overwhelming intrigue. As the story progressed, I soon found myself hooked and engrossed – often wishing my journey’s would last longer so I could listen to more of the story. There is a twisting and captivating plot in this story with such an interesting and heart-stopping villain. With many layers to this story, it is no wonder that it works so well. Emily Diamond manages to successfully build tension and, in turn, pull hard on your heart-strings throughout it all.

How Do You

What helped to make this book so entertaining was the characters. I thought both Gray and Isis were well-developed and interesting to read about. On top of that you had cute and charming Angel, protective and worried Callie, and the brilliantly written psychic Phillip Syndal. All of the characters made this book brilliant but my favourite character was Isis. She’s so intriguing as a character. Strong, powerful and at the same time, still jsut a young teen trying to make it through life feeling alive.

Fight It

I definitely adored this book. It pulled me in and played with my emotions and then sadly chucked my back out again when it finished. It was a fascinating read that was full of some really creative moments that are sure to take your breath away. This book is fast-paced, full of tension and will stay with you for days after it has finished. If you like ghost stories that are unique, definitely try this one. And if you like character-based stories, you really don’t want to miss this.
