Blurb:
What if your book boyfriend was real?

Jack Eversea is AWOL. Just weeks before scheduled promotion for the third and last installment of a book-to-movie global phenomenon, the Hollywood hottie’s onscreen and real life girlfriend is photographed cheating on him. Already disillusioned with his vapid life and tired of trading on his looks, Jack runs clear across the country to a tiny southern coastal town to hide and wait it out. He doesn’t count on having to reveal his identity the first night he’s there.

Keri Ann Butler has dealt with enough pain in her life. Orphaned twice over, first her parents, then her beloved Nana, she is singlehandedly trying to maintain the Butler family home–a beautiful, old southern mansion that she works hard to keep up while her brother finishes med school. And when he does it will be HER turn to live her life, go to college and leave the tiny coastal tourist town. That was the deal they made. Boys? There ARE no eligible boys, certainly none that live up to the fantasy she has created from the many books she’s read. But suddenly she’s face to face with the man who played her fictional hero. Normally sensible Keri Ann struggles not to fall for Jack’s easy charm, and to separate out real Jack from his character, Max. But Jack, against everything he knows is good for him and his career, is inexplicably drawn to this sweet, sassy, southern girl who seems to see straight through his act. When he makes her an offer she can’t refuse, their increased proximity has them fighting an explosive attraction that will lead to them making decisions that could alter the course of both their lives.

Teaser:
Jack stepped toward me. If it was possible, he suddenly looked predatory.
Pressing my back further against the cool wall at his approach, I held my breath. He planted his palms flat against the wall behind me, his body hovering a scant inch from mine and his head ducking straight down to my neck.
“I’m glad we have our reasons laid out, Keri Ann,” he said quietly, breathing words into my ear in a torrent of snapping electricity. “But that doesn’t mean it’s never going to happen.”
My stomach flipped over, and my breath whooshed out into a deep and embarrassing pant. Placing my hands against his hard chest, I pushed him away to arms length. “Wow, did anyone ever tell you how arrogant you are?”
“Not arrogant. Confident. There’s a difference.”

I don’t know about you but I am definitely intrigued by this New Adult novel! What are your thoughts on the cover/blurb/teaser?
