Hi All!
Today I have decided to participate in the Currently Reading Tag! It’s been a while since I’ve done a tag but I’ve decided to start doing them again so you may see a few more of these on the blog!

How Many Books Do You Usually Read At Once?
Too many. I am awful at just reading one book. I often have multiple on the go. For example, at the moment, I am currently reading two audiobooks, two ebooks and three paper copy books.
And that doesn’t even include all of the books that are still just part-finished. Ooops.
Do You Ever Switch Bookmarks While You’re Partway Through a Book?
The only reason I do this is when I have run out of magnetic bookmarks. I’ll swap out a magnetic for a paper bookmark on a book that I’m not currently reading but I am partway through. I’ll then use the magnetic one in a book I am currently reading!
Where Do You Keep The Book(s) You Are Currently Reading?
Everywhere. Honestly. If I’ve taken it out the house and I don’t then read in bed, it stays in my bag. But if I’ve read it in bed then it might go onto my desk or if I was really tired, it might just stay in bed with me! (I have a king size bed that I share with no-one so it just ends up on the side of the bed I don’t sleep in).
What Time of Day Do You Spend The Most Time Reading?
Honestly, it really varies depending on what I’m doing. Lately, I’ve been travelling by bus and train a lot so have been reading a lot in the day. But sometimes I read at night too.
How Long Do You Typically Read in One Sitting?
I have quite a short attention span so unless the book has gripped me so much that I’ve lost sense of time, I can generally only read for an hour. I then need to break to do something else, even if it’s just making a cup of tea, before reading on further!
Do You Read Hardbacks With The Dusk Jacket On or Off?
Off. I don’t like to ruin the dust jackets and so I much prefer reading without the jacket!
What Position Do You Mainly Use To Read?
Sitting is definitely my preferred method of reading but I do read lying down in bed sometimes.
Do You Take The Book You Are Currently Reading Everywhere You Go?
Not always – it depends where I’m going. For example, I’m not likely to take my book to the gym – although I do listen to audiobooks there! – but if I’m going out all day it will just be in my bag, just in case.
Also, I have the kindle on my phone so technically I always have a book with me if I need one!
How Often Do You Update Your Goodreads Progress On The Book You’re Currently Reading?
Never. I actually stopped using Goodreads last year as I kept forgetting to update my progress. I now tend to just use my bullet journal and try to remember!
