Summary: To read this book is to take the first step towards a life of consciousness. To read this book is to take the first step towards a life filled with love and abundance. To read this book is to take the first step towards knowing who you truly are.

For millennia, man has searched for purpose and meaning in his life but that journey has often led him to search in all the wrong places. It has been said many times that to connect with self is to connect with God and to connect with God is to connect with love, but our definition and understanding of what God is has become so misunderstood that many of us can’t even say the word, let alone connect with it.

By reading this book, you will start to realign yourself with the true definition of God, in all of its glory and all of its wisdom. By reading this book, you will start to realign yourself with the true meaning of self, in all of its beauty and all of its uniqueness. By reading this book you will start to realign yourself with the true meaning of love, in all of its expansiveness and all of its entirety. By reading this book you will take the first step towards the revolution of consciousness, the revolution of our hearts and minds, the revolution that will help us to find peace in ourselves and peace on our planet. The revolution that has been forever prophesied but never seen. The revolution that IS coming to our planet…

How I Found My Spirit Guide

By Niaby Codd

I had known for some time that spirit was helping me with my writing but I had no idea that it was this particular spirit guide who had been helping me all along.

Whilst attending one of my mediumship development courses we were asked to do an impromptu trance class whereby we invited spirit to step close to us and see the world through our eyes.

Trance mediumship sees the medium and the spirit world blending to a much closer degree than a demonstrating or private sitting medium is able to achieve. Through the deep passive state of trance, where both mental and physical energies are shared, a situation can be created whereby the spirit communicator can directly impact the medium’s mind. This allows spirit to communicate directly, eliminating any need for interpretation by the medium.

It was through this light trance state that I had my first experience connecting with my guide. As we blended our hearts, our minds and our souls, we became one with each other. I have never felt inner peace or wisdom like it. I had the innate sense that the spirit that had joined me was an incredibly enlightened wizard which I certainly thought was a little odd!

He very slowly moved my head from side to side to take in the room and gently moved my arms with his energy. I was blown away by this encounter as this was unlike anything I had previously experienced in my mediumship classes.

As powerful as the experience was, I did not do anything to follow it up. I had not long before lost my father to a year long battle with cancer and my mind was more than a little distracted with the grief process so I honoured the experience and quickly forgot about it!

Several months later, in an entirely different class, we were once again asked to do an impromptu trance session. This time we were asked to bring through some words of wisdom from our communicator. I immediately recognised him as being the same enlightened wizard who had joined me previously and as I listened to the words of wisdom that he brought forward, I recognised the language as being very similar to that which flows through me when I write.

Having recognised that, I made the decision to sit with him and write to simply see what would happen. By reading ‘The spirit of life’, you will bear witness to those conversations from start to finish –  no editing, no changing, just as it came.

It’s been quite the journey that we have been on together since connecting in those classes. He has helped to guide and navigate me through many of my life’s journey’s since then and I know he will continue to do so going forward.

Connecting with him has allowed me to really start to trust in the process. It has allowed me to see myself in a whole new light – to start to recognise the gifts and talents that I have locked away for so long in a bid to be the person that I thought I was expected to be. It has allowed me to walk the path of change, the path of knowledge and the path of light. It has allowed me to know myself fully and to shine a light so that others may too start to know themselves fully. It has allowed me to discover spiritual mysteries that I once thought were out of my reach and to act upon those mysteries in a way that has helped to set me free.

As I walk the path that sets myself free, I have also discovered that I have the ability to help to set others free too. I have learned that I see clearly, things that are not always so clear to others and I have learned to start to overcome my fears about speaking those truths aloud. I have learned that there are others like me – those who also walk the path to set others free. Those who also had to first walk the path to set themselves free. I have learned that together we are strong and that together we can help to guide the way for anyone who is ready to embark on this journey. I have learned that fear has no place in this journey and that only love can set us free. I have learned that to trust in self is to trust in spirit and to trust in spirit is to trust in love. I have learned that the more that we discover about self, the more we discover about the higher source of infinite wisdom. I have learned that each and every one of us has a gift, a gift that will help to heal the rift. I have learned that we all face challenges but that with each and every challenge that we face, we come a little closer to becoming the person that we were born to be. I have learned that love is power and that power used wisely can create a world of love. I have learned that our disconnection from self and therefore God, is what causes such sadness and destruction in the world. I have learned that whilst freedom may come at a cost, the cost of restriction and limitation is greater. I have learned that to be in our power, we must first remove those shackles of limitation from our feet. I have learned that to set ourselves free, is to set the world free, one tiny little step at a time. And I have learned that to be without love is to be without life, for love is the eternal mystery of life.

And so, these impromptu trance classes turned out to be one of the biggest gifts that has ever been given to me. As I have journeyed through my own self discovery to find my own wisdom and power, I now hope that my finding the courage to present this book to others, will also become one of the biggest gifts received by those others. And, as it is passed from person to person, from friend to friend, I hope that each person will also revel in the beautiful gift that they too shall be passing on, for a gift passed in love, is the greatest gift of all.
