Letterbox Love is a new meme that was created by Kristy, Laura, Carly, Lynsey, Emma and Leanne and is being hosted on Lynsey’s blog, here.
The logo on mine is not the actual one. I made this myself before I realised a graphic had been made already but I love mine so I’m keeping it.
Last week I didn’t participate in this meme because I actually didn’t get any books! (Crazy, right?) But actually, with my TBR falling over, it was probably a blessing in disguise! This week I also only got a few books and I can tell you that my pile is thanking its lucky stars right now. Hehe.
Storm by Brigid Kemmerer: Oh, I’ve been wanting this one since Brodie and Sarah kept going on about it’s awesomeness – and the book tour for it was brilliant – and then I read the pre-quel Elemental, and simply had to get this one! I finally purchased it for my Kindle and am currently reading it – and I love it so far!
Velvet by Mary Hooper: While I did request this one, it completely slipped my mind so when it arrived in the post yesterday morning I was really surprised and happy! I can’t wait to read this one, it looks so intriguing and interesting and just great. Thank you Emma Bradbury and Bloomsbury!
Seraphina by Rachel Hartman: Okay, I will be the first one to admit that I squealed when this arrived. Like, at the back of the throat, high pitched, eeeeee! I wasn’t expecting it either! I asked but there were only 15 copies so I didn’t have high hopes. I am so EXCITED to read this one. Like, you know, run on the ceiling and up and down the stairs excited. *cough* I did not do this, I promise. But yes. It will be read soon and I cannot wait! Thank you so much Harriet Venn and Random House Publishing.
Spark by Brigid Kemmerer: Oho, what’s this? I also got the second book in the series this week? Why yes, yes I did! I requested this on Netgalley and knew that I got accepted I would race through Storm to read it and I got accepted! So, there it is sitting, looking glorious on my kindle and I am eagerly waiting to finish Storm so that I can read this one. Thank you Kennsington for this one!
And that is all I got this week! Short and sweet but exciting nonetheless!
what did you get this week?
