My Initial Thoughts
I have always been fond of Christmas books. Mostly as I am a little bit of a lover of Christmas. My favourite part of Christmas is being able to enjoy the little comforts of life. To me, Christmas is about being comfortable, in whatever way works for you. It’s about celebrating with friends and family, enjoying the end of the year and getting ready to start a new year. So I always love when books have this kind of feel to them and I was positive that A Perfect Cornish Christmas was going to do exactly that – and so far, I have not been proven wrong.
I am just over halfway through the book but I am absolutely enjoying everything about it so far. I love the idea of small village Christmasses – though I’ve never been to one myself – but to me, books like this truly bring the magic of Christmas alive and as the book plods along, I can definitely see that this is starting to happen. I am just at a part where things are starting to change up a little bit so I am definitely interested to see where things will go but already I am positive that this is a book that I will absolutely love and will definitely recommend.
