Top Ten Tuesday; Books That Will Make You Swoon
Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week a new topic is given and this weeks topic is Books That Will Make You Swoon.
Secret by Brigid Kemmerer; This book has a lot of threads going through it and while it may not be the most romantic book in this series, I think the romance in this one is just super sweet. I love the relationship that Nick is dealing with and how he feels about it all. I admire the whole romantic element of this book!
Ferryman by Claire McFall; This is such a unique book, but I couldn’t help but love the romance aspect of it. I love how this relationship started, how it was rocky and indifferent to begin with and then suddenly things flipped without the characters even realising anything had changed. It was just such a lovely look at love and romance.
The Secret of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen; There was something so beautiful about the romance in this book. It was really rich and raw and I just really found the connection between the two main protagonists to be really intriguing and powerful.
Faking It by Cora Carmack; I have so much love for this book. It is my favourite book written by Cora and the romance in it is just so brilliant. I love the couple in this book and all of the things they go through and I just feel like you can see that these two just work so well together.
Easy by Tammara Webber; Ahhh. Lucas. What an amazing guy. And he is just so perfect with Jacqueline. I love this couple and all the things they go through. There is such a lovely element of romance in this book and it just flows so well within it.
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell; I absolutely adore the romance in this book! It feels so real and realistic, which isn’t that common in books like this. It wasn’t a fall-in-love on first sight book, it wasn’t even a fall in love gradually. It was just… life. Levi liked Cath. Cath liked Levi as a friend. But then he was always there, he went above and beyond and got her thinking. It was cute beyond all cuteness.
Boy meets Boy by David Levithan; I think I just love every relationship in this book. It is full of everything and it is just fun and interesting and just romance that will make you swoon! (did you see what I did there?)
Speechless by Hannah Harrington; I love the romance in this book. Especially because of Sam who knows he probably shouldn’t even be talking to Chelsea but he can’t help it. Their friendship that just grows into something more was just so cute and lovely and really made my heart ache!
Cinder by Marissa Meyer; Admittedly it has been a long while since I read this book, but I still can’t get over how much I adored the romance in this book. It’s got that risky forbidden-ness to it that really makes your heart thump but I just loved the real-ness of it all. I still really want to know what will be happening next!
Falling to Ash by Karen Mahoney; Talking of forbidden love, the relationship in this book is so great because at first the two main characters cannot stand each other. They are, after all, enemies. But then they work together towards a common goal and it seems that they are starting to realise there’s more behind their hatred of each other. It’s just a brilliant look at romance!

Yes to Secret! I absolutely adored the romance in that book. Soooo cute.
Sorensen made my list too. Just with Lila and Ethan. She is the queen of NA and swoon. :)
Levi and Lucas are totally swoon worthy too. My list was just very cut throat. Haha!
Great list, Faye! :D

Every time I see someone else list this week I realise I missed out some great books on mine! I love the chemistry in Faking It and the slow burn of Speechless. I included Secret on my list but after reading the comment above I wish I’d included Lila and Ethan as well!
So many great romantic swoon reads out there!
