Tidal Patterns by Rachelle Paige

Hello All!
Today is my stop on the Tidal Patterns blog tour and I am here to tell you all my thoughts on the book!
But before I do there, here’s some more information on the book!

Tidal Patterns is the first book in the Golden Shores series. It is currently only 99p on kindle, as is the second book, Coastal Erosion. The third book, Surface Currents released yesterday!

About the Book

tidal-patterns Elizabeth Shaw is the preeminent, and only, wedding planner at the historic beach resort on Jekyll Island. She’s sure she’ll land the newly created role overseeing all major events. Then she’ll get a raise and won’t be forced to leave.

Mark Edwards doesn’t need any more stress. He’s ready to slow down and enjoy the tiny seaside town he calls home. His boss pushes him to apply for the new management position and he agrees. After a decade in catering, he’s sure he can do the events job without any trouble.

Neither counted on the other getting in the way.

Goodreads. Amazon UK.

My Review

There is something so magical about a book that has you flipping the pages incredibly quickly in the hope that it will all turn out how you want it to. I fell in love with all of the characters in this book and all of their conflicting emotions too. I found myself praying for them and filling them with my hope as the story continued. There were so many twists and turns and things to overcome that I wasn’t actually sure it was ever going to end the way I wanted, and lets face it needed it too. And then the ending through me completely but I loved it and felt it really fit with the characters too.

Rachelle Paige has created a strong novel here with lovable characters that you can’t help but support throughout the novel. She pulls you in from the very beginning and makes you curious as to where she takes it. The characters are vibrant and unique, wonderful and caring. I really just loved reading their journeys and finding out how they got to where they were and how that was changing the more they got to know each other as well. It was just wonderful.

I would definitely recommend this novel to lovers of romance fiction, especially those that love character-driven romances too. Rachelle Paige has not shied away from disasters in this book either and she has just really made it feel like a real story that you can imagine happening. I, for one, cannot wait to dive into the next book in the series and see what will happen next!
