The Interview

What is your favourite thing about writing books?
The opportunity of letting the creative juices of the imagination flow and (hopefully) gaining the appreciation of a substantial number of the Public.

Who is your favourite character in your book and why?
Perhaps surprisingly, Smith in the final story. Although he is a violent anti-hero, he is a thinking, decisive person with firm views on morality that many would agree with, not merely the shallow criminal thug that a cursory impression might give. His personality could also easily lend itself to a full-length novel.

What is your favourite drink to consume while writing?
I would like to say a large Scotch however my truthful if boring answer is simply coffee.

Do you have any bad habits while you’re writing?
Not that I know of, no distractions, even my faithful and much-loved German Shepherd lays quietly near me.

How do you research your books?
Other books and the internet.

Are you a plotter or a pantser?
Definitely a plotter.

If you could live in any fictional world, which would you choose and why?
Peter Pan’s Never Never Land, who does not want to never get any older and enjoy continuous harmless fun?

If you could befriend any fictional character, who would you choose and why?
Superman, because he would be able to assist in almost every endeavour, research or instant travel anywhere.
