September Monthly Wrap Up
So I ummed and ahhed about whether or not to start doing monthly wrap-ups on the blog but have eventually decided that in an effort to keep my blog more organised, to keep on top of challenges and to do a nice re-cap of the month for you all, that I would do them :-). Therefore, this post will be set out like my weekly highlights post, split into headings in an attempt to keep everything organised easily :D
Monthly Highlights
Life Wise;
September has been a crazy month. There is really no better way to describe it. I feel like I’ve been out almost every single day and have just been on the go for the whole of it. That has made it very stressful BUT I also had a lot of great things happen, so all in all, it’s been a good month!
The biggest news for me was the launch of my new website; www.fayerogers.co.uk. This is the platform I will now be using for my online freelance PR work. This had a lot of background work to it – like accounting?!?! – and sorting out all sorts of things, so has taken a lot of my time but I’m really pleased with the result and looking forward to seeing where it all goes.
Book event wise there was the chance to meet Leigh Bardugo which was AMAZING and then the chance to meet Maureen Johnson (again) and Sarah Rees Brennan (first time) at a event in Waterstones that was so much fun and I was very glad I went! (even when I ended up feeling ill on the way home!)
Aside from that, it’s just been a case of juggling all my work, blogging, vlogging and socialising which has been insane but I have feeling it will be the way my life will be from now on and I’m pretty much okay with that!
Blog wise;
I celebrated three years blogging this month, which still feels exceptional and overwhelming to me!
I seem to finally be posting more this month which is really fun. I still have so many ideas for posts that I really need to implement at some point – you know, when I find the time!
My top three posts this month were;
Book Review: Murder Most Unladylike by Robin Stevens
Top Ten Authors I Should Read More Of
Film Review: Pride (2014)
I, somehow, managed to read nine and a half books this month and I’m still not one hundred percent sure how that could be! But I’m proud that I managed that and glad that the majority of them were ones that I REALLY enjoyed!
Favourite Book
This was a really hard choice this month. I loved You Don’t Know Me so much but I also loved Amy and Matthew by Cammie McGovern a hell of a lot as well. However, I think I had a few more problems with Amy and Matthew then I did have with You Don’t Know Me so it eventually one. You Don’t Know Me is a book that made me FEEL so many emotions and it really makes you go on a rollarcoaster as you go through the book. There are times when the main character is a bit naive and I wanted to yell at her but I actually think this made the book more interesting and fun to read because it felt more realistic. I got really sucked in by this story.
Books Read
October TBR
These are five books that I REALLY want to read this month! They’re the ones that are VERY high on my TBR!

I wish you great success in your new professional adventure! I haven’t heard of your favourite book of the month, so I made sure to write down the title!
As for my september wrap-up, I have one favourite – the last book of Barry Lyga’s trilogy – and a few disappointments as well.
