October Monthly Wrap Up
So I ummed and ahhed about whether or not to start doing monthly wrap-ups on the blog but have eventually decided that in an effort to keep my blog more organised, to keep on top of challenges and to do a nice re-cap of the month for you all, that I would do them :-). Therefore, this post will be set out like my weekly highlights post, split into headings in an attempt to keep everything organised easily :D
Monthly Highlights
Wait, wait, wait, where did October even go?
I honestly don’t know where the month went or what I did during it but I was definitely busy and just very tired throughout it. But I’m definitely looking forward to November now.
Best bookish event was an afternoon tea with fellow bloggers and the lovely Zoe Marriott!
But mostly I was busy doing non-bookish things – like going to the cinema!
My top three posts of the month were;
The Cinema Experience
Must See Teen Movies
Top Ten Tuesday; Halloween Reads
I only managed to read eight and a half books this month but it’s still more than I expected to read so that’s good – and still more than the average person my age! I did hit a reading slump as well so I’m in the middle of quite a few books but looking forward to finishing them all soon!
Favourite Book
This is a book that I have been waiting to read since the beginning of the year when I first heard about it. I don’t remember what it was that attracted me to the book but I just knew it was one I really wanted to read. When I saw it in audiobook format in the library, I couldn’t resist taking it out and boy am I glad I did! This book is a really fun, light-hearted children’s book that was just a really good read. I loved listening to this book, I loved Amber, I thought her sister was cute and bossy and just felt that the story was really heart-warming and cute. I really hope that there will be more books in this series or that I’ll see Emma’s name again as this was just such an adorable little book!
Books Read
(And now I can see why I was probably in a reading slump!)
November TBR
I have a very busy month because of NaNoWriMo and work but I’m hoping to read these books;
