Summary: You don’t know him. But he knows you.

Soon he would be able to touch her, to feel the warmth of her blood. And when the time came, nothing would stop him.

As D.C. Jennifer Knight investigates a routine stabbing in the quiet town of Haven, she is shocked at what seems like a personal message from beyond the grave.
When more bodies are found, Jennifer is convinced the killings are somehow linked. What she discovers is more chilling than she could possibly imagine. The murders mirror those of the notorious Grim Reaper – from over twenty years ago. A killer her mother helped convict.

Jennifer can no longer ignore the personal connection. Is there a copycat killer at work? Was the wrong man convicted? Or is there something more sinister at play …

With her mother’s terrifying legacy spiralling out of control, Jennifer must look into her own dark past in a fight not only to stop a killer – but to save herself and those she loves.

Someone Is

Recently I have found myself become more and more fascinated with thriller novels. I have always been fond of them but they’re not the books that I would normally choose over another but this is slowly changing as the thriller novels become more addictive and intense. This is no exception for Don’t Turn Around. This book really brings out your curiosity and claws its way into your brain. Just when you think you know, it changes the rules completely. It’s a very different and unique book that I very much enjoyed reading.

Coming To

It will be hard to dive into this plot without spoilers but what I will say is that it was a very thrilling, twisty plot that kept you on the edge of your seat. It was also full of little surprises and shocks that will make you very curious throughout. I thought the execution of this book was very well done and it definitely kept me interested completely. I do believe that this book may not be for everyone but for me, it was riveting and very engrossing. I loved how it ended too and cannot wait to see what is next in store for Jennifer Knight!

Teach You

There were a fair few characters mentioned and visited in this book but I think they were all done so exceptionally well. My favourite character was probably Frank. I found that he was written so well, had a very intriguing background and was just the most interesting character in the novel. As well as Frank, I also quite liked Jennifer Knight. At times I thought she acted a little strangely and she had a very dark deep secret in her past but overall she was a good character and definitely grew by the end of the novel. As mentioned above, I definitely want to see what will happen in the next book and can’t wait to read more about her.

A Lesson

All in all this book was a good one that kept me entertained – which is everything you want in a book. It was dark, mysterious and very much pulled you into the story. I thought it was a brilliant story with a creepy but fascinating plot, a wonderful array of characters and just really worked for what it was. If you’re a fan of thrillers and want to read something that’s a little bit different but still very good, you should definitely read Don’t Turn Around. While you do, don’t forget that there’s not always somewhere to hide…
