Bout of Books 4.0 – Goals
Bout of Books 4.0!
Personally I have never participated in a book read-a-thon before so I’m actually really excited to be participating in this one and can’t wait for it to start on Monday!
If you’re like me and have never participated in one, or don’t even know what one is, here is a quick lowdown for you;
The Bout of Books Read-a-Thon was created by Amanda @ On a Book Bender on a complete whim in August 2011*. It took on a life of its own and was such a hit that Amanda decided to do it again and turn it into a somewhat regular occurrence. There are no set dates for Bout of Books; rather, Amanda tries to work with Bout of Books participants to determine the best dates for them. (MORE INFO HERE)
If you want to join us, I believe there is still time to sign up, so go do it now! It should be a blast!

Number of books I’ve read today: 3/4 of 1
Total number of books I’ve read: 0
Books: Helens of Troy by Janine McCaw
Thoughts: This has been a tough book to get through. It’s long and there are parts I fly through because it’s so good and there there are parts which are tough. It’s a bit touch and go. But I plan to get it finished today! –fingers crossed-

The chances are, I will probably get extremely busy for some reason throughout the week and will struggle to get five books read but I hope that this isn’t the case. I am incredibly behind on my reading and really just need to catch up! Can’t wait to get this party on the road though!

Yay for The Mysterious Affair at Styles!! :) My post goes up later today but yep, I’ll try to read at least 3 books. The Mysterious Affair at Styles might be another one I would pick up though.

I’ve just signed up for this too, I’m aiming for 4-6 books, whether it happens or not is another matter! If The Mysterious Affair at Styles is anything like And Then There Were None, then you’re in for a great read!

I always have at least one book on my list that slows me down. Keep plugging away at it. Good luck!
