Friday’s Film Favourite #14

It’s Friday! And that means Friday’s Film Favourite! For those who don’t know, this is where I list all of the films that have come out this week and let you all know which one I am most looking forward to viewing! Feel free to let me know what you’re looking forward to seeing this week! (even if it’s not out here in the UK!)

I’ve been a bit busy lately and haven’t done one of these posts in a while, but hopefully I’ll be doing it religously again soon! And as always, feel free to join me :D

21 Jump Street (Release Date: 16/03/2012)
Director: Phil Lord and Chris Miller
Genre: Action, Comedy
Main Cast: Jonah Hill, Channing Tatem and Ice Cube
Trailer: Click Here
Initial Thoughts: Umm… yeah, I love Channing, hate Jonah… it looks… okay but not great. Certainly not something I’m totally excited to go and see straight away!

Contraband (Release Date: 16/03/2012)
Director: Baltasar Kormákur
Genre: Drama
Main Cast: Mark Wahlberg, Giovanni Ribisi and Kate Beckinsale Trailer: Click Here
Initial Thoughts: This looks generic. Once you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all? It could just be the trailer but it certainly tells you what happens in the plot bit by bit. Do I need to watch the movie? Who knows!

The Devil Inside (Release Date: 16/03/2012)
Director: William Brent Bell
Genre: Horror
Main Cast: Fernanda Andrade, Simon Quarterman and Evan Helmuth
Trailer: Click Here
Initial Thoughts: This looks AWFUL. And yes, all with capitals because it honestly just looks that bad. I saw the trailer in the cinema a while back and have hated it ever since. Definitely won’t be seeing this!

We Bought A Zoo (Release Date: 16/03/2012)
Director: Cameron Crowe
Genre: Comedy, Drama
Main Cast: Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson and Thomas Haden Church
Trailer: Click Here
Initial Thoughts: The trailer looks cheesy, a true blockbuster type movie but I have to admit it looks okay, not something that I would never want to see, at any rate!

THE FAVOURITE: We Bought A Zoo
So, I didn’t particularly find one film this week that really called to me but out of all of the ones above, I definitely think that We Bought a Zoo is one that I’d be more willing to go and see. I’d be happy seeing Contraband too but this one won in the end because I’m not in an action-y mood as of this very moment.

what is your favourite?
