Lettie Tells Us All!
Hey Guys!
So today we have the lovely Lettie from Above Average Below Special. She is here for you today with an interview. All of the bloggers I contacted were given the same questions as I thought it would be fun to get different opinions on the same things.
Hope you enjoy all of the questions and all of the answers.
The summer is often a great time for reading. What are five books you would recommend others to read this summer?
Nantucket Blue by Leila Howland; Perfect summer read!
Lost and Found by Nicole Williams; A summer read set in rural Montana.
Anything by Morgan Matson; I love both of her books they are perfect for summer.
The Selection by Kiera Cass; A light hearted dystopia.
Lengths by Steph Campbell and Liz Reinhardt; Fun read full of passion set in a beach town.
While our wishlists are already towering over, are they any new releases happening this summer that you’re really looking forward to?
Right of Way by Lauren Barholdt; So excited for this ‘sequel’ to Two Way Street, one of my all time favourites.
Near and Far by Nicole Williams; Looking forward to reading from Jesse’s pov and catching up with him and Rowan.
All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill; This one definitely sounds like a good dystopia to try out!
Sometimes the weather can turn a little dreadful. Are they any books you would recommend to read to counteract this weather?
The English weather is unbearably fickle and so far this ‘summer’ I’ve read Limits by Steph Campbell and Jolene Perry, A Sliver of Hope by Karla J. Nellenbach and Unbroken by Melody Grace to pretend I live somewhere more sunny! I also recommend Falling by Jolene Perry which is set in winter in Alaska so at least you know wherever you are it’s warmer than a snowy Alaska!
Name your top three authors.
Such a hard question- I’m going to cheat a little!
Current 3- Kiera Cass, Morgan Matson and Nicole Williams.
All time 3- J.K Rowling, Diana Wynne Jones and Tamora Pierce.
When it comes to blogging, are you someone who posts spontaneously or do you schedule ahead?
I think I do a mix of the two! I tried to draft up blog ideas as soon as I think of them or reviews as soon as I finish and assign them ‘rough’ dates. However I usually end up being less organised and spontaneously posting!
What are your three favourite reviews that you have written since you started blogging
Hmmm I will have to say my reviews of If I Stay and Where She Went by Gayle Forman, Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi and Divergent by Veronica Roth.
