Top Ten Tuesday; Authors I Should Read More Of.
Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week a new topic is given and this weeks topic is Top Authors I’ve Only Read One Book From But NEED to Read More>/strong>
Marissa Meyer; I read Cinder in February 2012, it is now September 2014 and I have yet to read another book of hers despite LOVING Cinder. I must change this.
Victoria Schwab; I fell in love with Victoria while reading Vicious but even though I own The Archived and The Unbound, I have yet to read either of them!
Leigh Bardugo; A new gem for me. I have only recently finished (and loved) Shadow and Bone, but I really need to read the final two books in the trilogy before I forget the story too much!
Richelle Mead; I got so addicted to Vampire Academy that before I had even finished the book, I’d ordered the next two books in the series. Have I read them yet? Of course not!
Cynthia Hand; Unearthly was one of the first books I read after starting my blog and I fell head over heels in love with it! Yet I have not moved to her next book yet, have I?
Maria V. Snyder; When I first head about Touch of Power, I was determined to read it. Then I loved it so much I bought all of Maria’s other books (bar one), and they all sit unread on the shelf.
Gina Damico; I never expected to love Croak as much as I did but I found it to be a truly remarkable title. I have since acquired the next two books in the trilogy and yet they just stare at me unread. I think they judge me.
A. C. Gaughen; I don’t think you quite understand how much I LOVED Scarlet. I wanted to be in the book. I thought about it all the time. It was incredible. It took me a LONG time to get my hands on the second book and yet still it sits waiting to be read. I am ashamed of myself.
Tara Hudson; Hereafter is my IDEAL story. It has ghosts. It has forbidden love. It has amazing writing and a fascinating plot. I loved it from the get go and I couldn’t wait to get my grubby hands on the sequel. And yet…
Karen Mahoney; I loved Falling to Ash SO MUCH that I borrowed The Iron Queen from a friend just to read Karen’s writing ALL OVER AGAIN. I have kept on to that borrowed book for over a year now. Yes, I am also a BAD FRIEND.

I have Leigh Bardugo and Gina Damico on my list as well, for exactly the same reasons! I loved Shadow & Bone and Croak, and I seriously need to continue these series.
I’ve read the first two of Vampire Academy – another series I need to finish. I actually enjoyed Frostbite more than the first book. There are also so many other series of her that sound amazing.

Oooh! That just makes me wanna read Frostbite moore! Gotta get on to reading these sequels!

OMG! You haven’t read VA series! You have to get back to it because it is just fantastic! In fact, it’s my most favorite paranormal series! Great picks! :)

I’ll make it my goal to read them by the end of the year! Hehe. Thanks for stopping by :)

I also have Victoria Schwab on my list. Vampire Academy is a great series, though I must confess I’m still on number 4, but hey ho!
Yay, so happy you enjoyed Shadow & Bone too!
I’m glad to see I am not the only person who buys books fully intending to read them and then doesn’t read them straight away!

I have heard and can imagine!! Hopefully soon!! :D

I really need to read Cinder and Shadow & Bone. I don’t think I’ve read anything on your list. I’m intrigued by Vampire Academy but I’m worried it’ll be too Twilight for me.
Faye (Daydreaming_Star)
Nooo! It’s really not! (Ignore the film! Lol). It’s sooo much better than Twilight. Not even in the same ballpark :)
Missie
You have some of my favorite authors on your list! I love Marissa and Leigh so much!

I’m actually in the same boat with Cinder and Shadow & Bone. I loved those books too… and eventually I will catch up. Especially now with Ruin & Rising out… I suppose it’s time for me to finally read Siege & Storm, haha.
Great list :)

Same here for Leigh Bardugo’s Grisha series. I enjoyed the first book, I haven’t yet read the second one… Hope it will be as good!
And you make me very curious about Karen Mahoney’s novel. One more on the to-be-read-soon list!
