Weekly Highlights; Blogoversary Edition
Weekly Highlights is a new feature here at A Daydreamer’s Thoughts and will be a post highlighting things that happened on and off the blog. It is inspired by The Story Sirens In My Mailbox, Books, Biscuit and Tea’s Showcase Sunday, Kimba Caffeinated’s Sunday Post, and the British Letterbox Love.
In the feature I won’t mention everything I received, nor every post I wrote during the week but will simply feature a selection of things I wish to spotlight a second time around.

Around The Blogosphere
There are many challenges in life, but feeling like your age is hindering you is never helpful. This week Lucy talks about how she feels her age has restricted her in some ways while she blogs. It was a great post that I really think you should read. Check it out here.
It’s really hard to enjoy reading when it feels like a chore, but how do you bring the enjoyment back? Check out this post for Hollie’s plan to bring it all back.
Are there books you read a while ago that you still love and want to share with the world? This week I stumbled across Stephanie’s feature, Throwback Thursday, and I loved it. Find out more about the feature and why she loves VA here.
For me, one of the best things about book blogging is meeting and talking to fellow book bloggers. For once I have people to talk to about books which is absolutely amazing! Bloggers are really friendly and love to meet new people too. To get some tips on how to talk to them and meet new ones, check out Sophie’s post here.
Children’s books are amazing. They should definitely be enjoyed no matter how old you are. If you disagree, you should definitely check out Stacey’s post on why you’re never too old to read children’s books here.
This week Amanda has written a post about 3 uncomfortable truths about blogging. To find out what she thinks they are, click here.
Letterbox Love
So it’s been a slow week book wise but it’s been quite good as I’ve still got so many books to read!
The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorensen; Got this one from the library and I’ve already read it – and loved it! Really glad to have read it!
Vampirates; Demons of the Ocean by Justin Somper; After hearing that this series is really great, I decided to check it out! Got this copy from the library and looking forward to enjoying it.
And there you have it, my Weekly Highlights!
I hope to visit all posts of this manner, so feel free to link to your own IMMs, Sunday Showcase, Sunday Posts, Letterbox Loves or whatever it is you do below!

Congrats on the blogiversary!!! And the links – most of them are new to me and I loved reading the,. The “age” one was particularly interesting, I guess because I might be one of those people who wouldn’t want my 13 year old reading certain books (erotic) much less disecting them on the internet.

So glad you loved The Coiincidence of Callie and Kayden – I have it to read soon!
