Weekly Highlights; The Crazy Week Edition
Weekly Highlights is a new feature here at A Daydreamer’s Thoughts and will be a post highlighting things that happened on and off the blog. It is inspired by The Story Sirens In My Mailbox, Books, Biscuit and Tea’s Showcase Sunday, Kimba Caffeinated’s Sunday Post, and the British Letterbox Love.
In the feature I won’t mention everything I received, nor every post I wrote during the week but will simply feature a selection of things I wish to spotlight a second time around.
Post Highlights
So this week was a little mental! I started back doing full time work at the library and I’m not so sure I was completely ready for it! Add in an emergency vet visit, moving furniture into my new home (EEEK!) and trying to get all of my room packed up to move, and you have me in a very crazy week! That’s not to mention social things going on as well, so needless to say today I am shattered and while I hope to be spending it in bed resting, instead I still have more room to clear out – how did I aquire so much stuff?!?
That also meant by blogging schedule kind of went out of the window this week – sorry! Just a little teaser of what April will be like, eh? Here’s what did happen;
I posted ONE review this week;
Fearsome Dreamer by Laure Eve (THREE HEARTS)
I signed up for LGBT Month, which runs throughout April!
With the uprise of YA movie adaptations, I wrote the pros and cons to reading the book before or after the movie. Click here to see what I thought and add your own thoughts!
Blog TLC
This week I also announced that throughout the month of April I plan to give my blog some well-deserved tender loving care.
To find out what that means, read this post.

Letterbox Love
I’ve had a fairly quiet week this week, just two review books and two library books – and no books bought!
The History Keepers; Night Ship to China by Damian Dibben; Ahhhh! Been waiting on this one for SO LONG. Cannot wait to see what new adventure Jake will get into this time! Thank you to Random House Children’s for this copy!
The Fearless by Emma Pass; This one sounds sooo interesting. Looking forward to sinking into this one. Thank you again Random House!
A Crack in the Line by Michael Lawrence; I read this when I was a teenager – before book three was released – and loved it SO MUCH. But I never finished the trilogy, so I have now taken it out of the library to do just that!
The Redemption of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorenson; I loved the first book of this in the series, so I’m looking forward to continuing it! Saw this in the library and just had to have it.
And there you have it, my Weekly Highlights!
I hope to visit all posts of this manner, so feel free to link to your own IMMs, Sunday Showcase, Sunday Posts, Letterbox Loves or whatever it is you do below!
what did you get this week? what cool blog posts did you stumble upon? what are you waiting to happen this week?
