In My Mailbox #2

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren. Let us know what books you’ve bought, borrowed or received for review!
My mailbox wasn’t that busy this week, I almost only had one new book turn up until yesterday but that’s okay because every book counts, doesn’t it? =D
So, here’s what I got in my mailbox this week;
This is my first ebook and I have 14 days to read it as I am borrowing it from the library. I haven’t started reading it yet but I was curious about both the season and the idea of reading an e-book. I don’t have enough money for a kindle but if I like it I may have a good christmas present to ask for! =]
This is a book I got out of the library after winning the second one (a while back) in a book quiz. Growing up Hilary Duff was my role model, until I got older and realised just how annoying she is. Yet, due to this admiration of her, I found that it was necessary to see if her writing was any better than her acting and singing. Other than that, I have no thoughts on this book, I just hope it’s an okay read!
That was all I got this week.
what did you get? =D

    You can borrow ebooks from your library? Cool! I don’t have an ereader either, but I want one because there are some amazing titles on NetGalley!

    “Growing up Hilary Duff was my role model, until I got older and realised just how annoying she is.” – LOL that made me laugh. Can’t wait to read your thoughts on Elixir. I have Devoted, but haven’t read the first one yet either.

    Awesome books, happy reading! :)

    Nice books!! I need to read Elixir soon. I’ve got the sequel! I’ve yet to read the Morganville series too.. Hope you enjoy your grabs :) Thanks for stopping by!

    Hope you enjoy Glass Houses ;) I’m up to Number 10 in the Morganville Vampires, Bite Club. Once you get stuck into this series you just want to keep reading it. Addictive as hell. And Elixir is still sitting on my shelf if you’ve seen it in my video and so as well with its sequel.

    Happy reading and thanks for coming by my blog!

    Nice mailbox! You might want to see if your library has any eReaders to loan out, as mine has a few nooks that you can borrow.

    I have a nook and love it! While I’ll always love print books, eReaders are really convenient, plus you can get eARCs from publishers and NetGalley. I didn’t like eReaders at first, but now I’m a convert! :)

    Here’s my IMM.

    @Brodie – Yeah! I didn’t know until this week but when I found out I was all… AWESOME! They have the entire Morganville series in ebook format so I am going to be looking forward to reading them!
    Haha, glad I managed to make you laugh and thanks! I shall let you know if it’s worth getting the first one!

    @Lisa – Thanks! I’ll let you know if it’s worth the trouble reading Elixir when I get round to it! haha.

    @Erin – Thanks!

    @LibrarySnake – I’m definitely intrgiued by it!

    @Rose – I shall make sure to get my reviews of them up quickly so that you can decide if they should stay in your wishlist! hehe.

    @Mrs_Laura_Koehler – Thanks! I’ve been ‘iffy’ about ebooks ever since they were first introduced! I get the idea of how cheap and easy it is but it would just feel weird to me and I love love love actual books but who knows, maybe I’ll become a convert after this!

    @Cassy – Thanks for your comment and for following! =]

    @Braiden – Thanks! I’ve heard some good things about the series and thought, what the hell, I might as well try it! And I’ll have to let you know if it’s worth removing them from your shelf! aha.

    @Rebecca – I shall definitely make sure I get a review up of both!

    @Alexia561 – Ooh. Never even thought about seeing about that. But considering they have an ebook library they just might… I’ll have to see about it! And thanks for letting me know about the nook! I’m still a bit on the edge when it comes to ebooks but maybe I’ll change my mind after I’ve tried it out! I know both my mum and step-mum (who are both book lovers) really love their kindles so maybe I will too!

    @Rachel – Haha, yeah, I didn’t buy either of the books as I was the same but after I won the second one and the library had the first one, I was just like… well, now’s the time to try it out, right?

    @Michele – Yeah, you really have to wonder just how good they are at writing but apparently Elixir was on the NY Times bestseller list but then, of course, that doesn’t mean it’s any good! Haha, we’ll see!

    @Alexis Ladig – Oooh! This makes me very excited to start reading it but then quite cautious about it too. Not sure I’d have the time to read all 10 back to back! Aha!

    @Giselle – Thanks! I’ve heard the same and cannot wait to read it! I’m always intrigued by new vampire books!

    @Alison Can Read – Thanks! And I’ve heard that so many people do so I hope I do too! And I shall let you know if Elixir is any good or not! =]

    Thank you ALL for stopping by <3

    @Veronica – I think you should! And hehe, she’s one of those celebs you just never understand why you liked! lol.

    @Joy – Thanks!

    @Steph – I will definitely make sure I do that!

    @Rachel – Oooh! Interesting. Maybe I’ll be nicely surprised? lol. And thanks! I’m looking forward to them more now!

    @Lalaine – Right? Hehe. It will be intriguing, that’s for sure!
