Weekly Highlights; The RCC Wrap Up Edition

weekly highlights

Weekly Highlights is a new feature here at A Daydreamer’s Thoughts and will be a post highlighting things that happened on and off the blog. It is inspired by The Story Sirens In My Mailbox, Books, Biscuit and Tea’s Showcase Sunday, Kimba Caffeinated’s Sunday Post, and the British Letterbox Love.

In the feature I won’t mention everything I received, nor every post I wrote during the week but will simply feature a selection of things I wish to spotlight a second time around.

Post Highlights

What a week! I’ve been soo busy this week that I was incredibly glad to have been able to schedule my blog posts in advance! Outside of the blog it feels like I just never stopped – not that it’s a bad thing but I just seemed to always be doing something! Fortunately, one of the things that happened this week was securing a permanent full time position where I work and while this is likely to make me very busy, it also means I have a secure job that will help pay rent and bills! Yay! Now… onto the posts…

This week I didn’t post any reviews!
Eeeek.

But I did reveal Laure Eve‘s cover for The Illusionists. If you haven’t yet seen it, you can do so here.

My top ten post this week was sequels I’m dying to read. Find out what ones I chose here.

On Thursday I hosted the lovely and talented Liz de Jager on the blog. Read her wonderful tour post on the research of her book Banished by clicking here

It is the beginning of a new month! Can you believe it? With that in mind, naturally, I posted my February Monthly Wrap Up. Come see what I’ve been getting up to this month.

Review Copy Cleanup

This is my wrap up of the month!

I set out with a goal that half of the books I read this month be review copies.

And out of the ten and a half books I read, six and a half were review copies, four weren’t. So I BEAT my goal! Yaaay! How did you get on with your goal?

Review Copies Read;
The Lost Journals of Benjamin Tooth by Mackenzie Crook
Unhinged by A. G. Howard
Drummer Girl by Bridget Tyler
The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau
Deep Amber by C. J. Busby
Falling Fast by Sophie McKenzie
Banished by Liz de Jager (half!)

Noughts and Crosses Read-a-long!

Noughts&Crosses Read-a-long1

I posted about this a few weeks ago now but this is just a little reminder post!

As it is now March the Noughts and Crosses Read-a-Long has started! The first round of discussion questions for the first book will go live on this blog next Friday! It’d be great to see you there!
