Books

In My Mailbox #1

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren. Let us know what books you’ve bought, borrowed or received for review!
So, this is my first time participating in this, and I decided that I would actually participate because I have a Friday Film feature on my blog but since my blog is for both books and films I figured I would probably need a book feature as well and I honestly love this idea and the ability to feel jealous over what other people have recieved during the week. I think I’ll be doing this as a weekly feature but that will also depend on how often I manage to get hold of books so it may change to a fortnightly feature – we shall see!
Anyway! Onto what was In My Mailbox this week!

Hereafter By Tara Hudson
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins (Hunger Games #2)
Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins (Hunger Games #3)

It may not be a lot of books, but as a university student I wouldn’t be able to get through a lot of books anyway as I have to put my education first. However, that does not mean that I am not excited to start reading them. In fact, I have already started Catching Fire because I found that the suspence from the last book made the wait too unbearable! So far I am still impressed by the story and cannot wait to see where it will take me!

As for Hereafter, I have heard so many good things about this book and after reading the synopsis, I simply had to get it to read and then the library sent me an e-mail to tell me it was ready to collect and I pretty much jumped for joy! Unfortunately, however, it will now be read only after The Hunger Games trilogy is over but I’m sure that my anticipation for it can wait. Let’s just hope the book is actually worth the hype!

So, that is what I got this week,
