My Thoughts On… The Heat Is On by Helen Bridgett

Today is my stop on the blog tour for The Heat Is On and I am here today with a review of this fantastic book!
My Thoughts
**Please note: I have not yet finished this book. With personal issues getting in the way but I do plan to finish it soon. With that in mind, here is a little mini-review of the book so far!
First of all, I absolutely adored the first book in the series (review of it can be found here) and so when I found out there was a second book coming out, I jumped on the chance to read it. Fortunately, from what I can tell so far, this book is just as good as the first. The characters are still vibrant, unique and wonderful to read about. They’re like a little family and I absolutely love that in books. It feels like coming home every time you return to reading the book!
On top of all of that, I love how the plot is flowing in this book. The main character has a plan for how things are going to go and things just aren’t quite flowing as she’d hope. There seem to be a lot of things going wrong but I love that despite it, she still tries to stay positive throughout it. I am very interested in knowing how the story will all come together at the end and feeling hopeful that something good will happen – I mean it has to because our main character is so lovely, right?
All in all, even though I’ve not finished this book, I would definitely recommend reading it. I would say that you can read it even if you haven’t read the first book but it does make more sense and a bit more back story if you have read the first book. But if you’re looking for a lively and lovely book that will take you on an emotional rollarcoaster, you should make sure you give these books a try. Helen Bridgett is brilliant at what she does and deserves for her books to be loved by many!
