Today is my stop on the The Dead Ex blog tour and I’m here today to tell you all about this book and why I really want to read it! (I was also supposed to review it but with my reading slump, it didn’t happen and I am so sorry!)
About the Book
Vicki’s husband David once promised to love her in sickness and in health. But after a brutal attack left her suffering with epilepsy, he ran away with his mistress.
So when Vicki gets a call one day to say that he’s missing, her first thought is ‘good riddance’. But then the police find evidence suggesting that David is dead. And they think Vicki had something to do with it.
What really happened on the night of David’s disappearance?
And how can Vicki prove her innocence, when she’s not even sure of it herself?
So I have yet to actually read a book by Jane Corry but I have wanted to since I had her on the blog last year. On top of that, I have heard so many good things about her books that it would be very difficult to not want to read this book. But then you also have this stunning cover and an absolutely heart-wrenching synopsis. So as soon as I was offered a chance to read it, I jumped at it. I know I haven’t yet read the book but I am positive that it won’t be long – especially as my reading mojo has returned – before I dive into it’s wonderful depths and discover just how talented Jane is.
