Weekly Highlights; New Adult Edition
Weekly Highlights is a new feature here at A Daydreamer’s Thoughts and will be a post highlighting things that happened on and off the blog. It is inspired by The Story Sirens In My Mailbox, Books, Biscuit and Tea’s Showcase Sunday, Kimba Caffeinated’s Sunday Post, and the British Letterbox Love.
In the feature I won’t mention everything I received, nor every post I wrote during the week but will simply feature a selection of things I wish to spotlight a second time around.
Post Highlights
Another busy week for me guys! I got some news last week and had to rejuggle my priorities and then work got really busy as well so I just didn’t have time to settle down and write any posts. I also have a full week of work next week as well so it may be quiet next week too but I do have a few things planned to go up. :-)
I wrote TWO reviews this week;
The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2013) – THREE HEARTS
Silver Mood: The Complete Saga by Rebecca A. Rogers – THREE HEARTS
I have recently taken over running the Book Blogger Penpals site. If you’re interested, have a look at my post here

Sometimes we read an author who is so spectacular that we need to read more of their work. This week Hollie has written a post on the authors she read in 2012 that she wants to read more from. Check out who she picked here and tell her who you’d pick!
This week Lucy did a trial run of Embrace my Inner Geek. Not sure what it is? click here to see all the people who joined in and what they posted about!
Letterbox Love
Copper Girl by Jennifer Allis Provost; I got this as part of an ARC share group and I am super excited for it! I’ve started reading it and it’s actually proving to be a very interesting read!
My Soul to Steal by Rachel Vincent; With the last book in the series coming out soon, I thought it was high time I tried to finish this series! I have yet to be disappointed in any of these books! This was taken out of my library.
Absent by Katie Williams; This is a book I won from Abrhams and Chronicle – THANK YOU! – and it sounds so amazing and brilliant and I cannot wait to read it! It’s quite a short one so I’ll probably read it soon as well.
Question!
Would you like to use this feature as a meme? With a linky for your posts on your blog?
And there you have it, my Weekly Highlights!
I hope to visit all posts of this manner, so feel free to link to your own IMMs, Sunday Showcase, Sunday Posts, Letterbox Loves or whatever it is you do below!

I wasn’t a huge fan of the second Soul Screamers book so I lost track of the series, but everybody raves about the later books so I keep thinking I should catch up with it!

The third is better, just don’t read the synopsis first :/ lol. I just wanted to read it because I liked the series, halfway through I read the synopsis and felt cheated as it explains too much! But they are good books :)

Absent sounds awesome, I can’t wait to see what you think of it! I really need to start the Soul Screamers series. I have practically all of the books but haven’t read a single one of them, haha! And thank you for mentioning my post, lovely! :)

I started it today, just the first three pages and I already LOVE the writing style so I’m looking forward to reading more! You should start the series! Ignore the “twilight fans will love it” tagline though! You’re welcome! :D
