Weekly Highlights

Weekly Highlights; The Amazing Events Week

weekly highlights

Weekly Highlights is a new feature here at A Daydreamer’s Thoughts and will be a post highlighting things that happened on and off the blog. It is inspired by The Story Sirens In My Mailbox, Books, Biscuit and Tea’s Showcase Sunday, Kimba Caffeinated’s Sunday Post, and the British Letterbox Love.

In the feature I won’t mention everything I received, nor every post I wrote during the week but will simply feature a selection of things I wish to spotlight a second time around.

Post Highlights

So this week has been one of those busy ones again guys! But this is because of GOOD things! I ended up going to three different book events this week (two on one night!), and I went and saw a film as well! And I went to the gym and went jogging and crazily decided to run 6miles for charity in March! (eeek). So yes, busy, busy, busy!

But now onto the posts…

I wrote ONE review this week;
The Killing Woods by Lucy Christopher (FOUR HEARTS)

So in case you missed it, I revealed the Scavenger Hunt answers! Find out what they were here!

It was the end of the month, so naturally I posted my monthly wrap up! See how the month went for me by clicking here.

On Tuesday I posted my top ten book turn-offs! Check out what stops me reading a book here.

Netgalley November

If you’re anything like me, you may have a massive pile of netgalley books to get on with reading! Thus I am co-hosting Netgalley November to help get through that TBR pile. To find out more about this event and to join us, click here!

There’s still time to enter my blogoversary giveaway boasting of 33 different prizes and winners – with the chance to win more than once! To enter just go here! Ends 12th Oct.

I will be choosing the winners of the scavenger hunt soon and contacting them so if you entered, keep an eye on your inboxes!

Around The Blogosphere

This week Sophie-Louise has discussed how important reading is and tries to discuss if it has “competition”. Read this great post here and add your thoughts!

Reading books we’re excited for should be easy. We just sit down and read them, right? But it’s not always that simple. This is what Gaby has spoken about this week. Find out what she says here.

If you’re looking for a truly inspirational post, I recommened having a look at this post. Yes, that is all I will tell you about it!

Finally… have you HEARD the NEWS? There will a YA convention in the UK! To find out more about this awesome news, Raimy has written a great post on her blog, here. Are you as excited about this as I am?

Letterbox Love

After last week, I knew I needed to try and cut back a little bit so I didn’t get too many books this week… in fact, I only got one!

fearsome dreamer

Fearsome Dreamer by Laure Eve; I got this book on Thursday at the book launch where I celebrated with Laure! It was a great night and I’m so happy to have a signed copy of this book. I cannot wait to start reading it as it sounds amazing!

And there you have it, my Weekly Highlights!

I hope to visit all posts of this manner, so feel free to link to your own IMMs, Sunday Showcase, Sunday Posts, Letterbox Loves or whatever it is you do below!

what did you get this week? what cool blog posts did you stumble upon? what are you waiting to happen this week?
