Giveaway Winner,  Wrap-Up

2011 in a Wrapped-Up Post!

First things first! Today marked the end of my first giveaway ever, and therefore the winner needs to be announced!

Thank you all so much for entering and for following me here on this blog. You have no idea how much it actually means to me and how much you guys have helped me these past few months! I am now sitting at 88 followers and I’ve only been running for three and a half months. That, to me, is just honestly amazing. (Not to mention how many subscribers I have as well!)
So yeah, THANK YOU!!

Unfortunately, however, I can’t afford to gift you all with a new book (even if I want to) and thus, there could only be one person treated this time around! And that person was…

PRIMROSE

An e-mail has been sent confirming this and they will have 48 hours to reply until I, reluctantly, choose another winner!

Now, as I asked all of you what you liked most about Christmas and because I simply adored reading all of the answers, I figured that it was only fair that I, too, answer.
My favourite thing about Christmas is giving. Whether it’s giving presents to friends of family, giving a smile to someone who needs it, money to charity or just happiness to those in need. The best thing about Christmas is people that come together to give. And I just personally love giving people gifts. :-)

With that out of the way, it is now time to do a 2011 wrap up post. Now, as i only started my blog in September, I don’t have much to wrap up but that is not going to stop me! Hehe.

So,

Favourite Book(s) Read This Year
The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins

They weren’t published in 2011 but I read them this year and they were the main reason that I’ve gotten back into reading so vividly. They reminded me of the few gems out there in the world that are worth waiting to read! They were an inspiration to my own writing and the reading of other books and they were just simply marvellous reads!

Favourite Book Received For Review
The Scarlet Dagger by Krystle Jones

This book just inspired me and I didn’t want to stop reading. It had such a unique take on the Vampire stories and was just such an easy and interesting read. It is one that I would read again in a heartbeat.

Favourite Film of the Year
50/50 (2011)

This film was just… Brilliant. There are really no better words to describe this film. It was inspirational, magical, emotional, comedic and tragic all rolled into one. To me, there was no better film that came out this year. It was unique and is just able to stand out on its own easily.
