It’s Friday! And that means it’s time for Friday’s Favourite Film Release! For those unfamiliar with this, it basically means that I will describe each of the films that have been released this week and then I will be picking my favourite, which literally means the one that I cannot wait to watch!
So the releases this week are;
Twilight; Breaking Dawn Part 1 (Release Date: 18/11/2011) It is time for the beginning of the last book in the Twilight series! Bella finally agrees to marry Edward and then on their honeymoon they finally consumate their love. Unfortunately, everything goes wrong when Bella ends up pregnant and suddenly she’s carrying a half-vampire child full term! Hearing news of this, the vampire Counsel are not happy and start to begin plans to terminate it all. How will the Cullen’s fight their way out of this one? How will they deal with everything happening around them at once? TRAILER: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmKzwqQTqPw
Justice (Release Date: 18/11/2011) After his wife is killed, Will Gerrard will not allow it to stay that way, he wants revenge. So, when a stranger comes to me and tells him that he can sort out some justice for him, he immediately expects. This however, causes his life to change dramatically. Things soon start to spiral out of control as twist after twist is thrown in his direction. Will he ever be able to lead a normal life again or are things going to be this way forever? If I’m being perfectly honest, I would have picked neither of them as they both look to be horrible, horrible films but out of the two, Justice is definitely the lesser of two evils. Twilight could possibly be some of the worst films and books to hit the universe and I am utterly distraught at just how popular the series is but Breaking Dawn is by FAR the worst book of the four and I cannot imagine for ONE second that the film will be any good since the three before it were absolutely apalling. I’m sure I’ll go and watch it simply to laugh at it but never in the cinema, not even if my life depended on it!
But what about you? What is your favourite film release this week? Or, if you’re not from the UK, have you seen any of these and actually liked or hated? Let me know!
