Weekly Highlights; The Twisted Ankle Edition
In the feature I won’t mention everything I received, nor every post I wrote during the week but will simply feature a selection of things I wish to spotlight a second time around.
Post Highlights
So looking back over my posts, I realized that I actually haven’t done a Weekly Highlights post in June yet. I’ve been really busy and it’s often the post that takes me the longest to write because I have to gather my own URLs, the URLs of posts to share with you and get all the books together that I received that week, grabbing the URLs for those too. Needless to say it takes work and I do try to do it as the week goes by but this isn’t always possible. So this week I want to ask; would you like this feature to stay?
But with that said, here’s the highlights of the last few weeks.
I posted TWO reviews;
Gracefully Grayson by Ami Polansky (FOUR HEARTS)
Jurassic World (2015) (FOUR HEARTS)
I told you my Top Ten Shows on Netflix; you can read that post here.
I participated in two blog tours;
Catwalk Criminal by Sarah Sky
Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley
I wrote a post about how I feel society judges those that are bigger as lazy, inactive and not trying hard enough and how it shouldn’t be this way as just because one is larger, doesn’t mean they’re necessarily unfit, with proof from my own lifestyle. You can read that post by clicking here.
To counteract that, I also wrote a post about my lifestyle change with food. To find out what I’ve learnt and what I eat now, click here.
Do you have a TBR? Do you create mini-TBRs? This week I also wrote a post about TBRs. You can check that post out here.
And in this post you can find a list of ten books I really want to read this summer.
Giveaway
This week I am also hosting a giveaway. You can win a bundle of Betty Crocker items.
To enter this giveaway, check out this post.
Blogger Spotlight
I interviewed the lovely Daniel on my blog. You can read his answers to get to know him better, here.
LGBT Readathon
I announced the dates of the next LGBT Readathon. It will be from the 22nd (Tomorrow!) until the 28th June!
You can find out more information and sign up in this post.
Letterbox Love
I’ve had a fairly quiet few weeks on the book side of things, which is good because I am already inundated with books to read!
